Beschrijving

At our FMCG department in Tiel, logistics operations are managed between the e-commerce sector and the warehouse. As a Foreman, your task is to ensure that the required KPIs are met and that employees are optimally deployed. Sometimes a KPI may not be achieved, and that’s not a problem! However, it is essential that you, as a Foreman, can clearly explain to the manager or supervisor what is needed or what went wrong. Together, you will find solutions and anticipate future challenges.

Occasionally, you may need to step in where necessary, but for 80% of the time, you will be leading and proactively addressing issues before they arise. If a particular department is experiencing increased workload, you will be the first to notice and will allocate additional staff accordingly.
Your responsibilities will be

  • Independently managing a shift, distributing work assignments, instructing work methods, and overseeing execution;
  • Ensuring accurate activity registration and administration;
  • Supporting the Supervisor and acting as a replacement in their absence;
  • Identifying, resolving, and preventing process disruptions within the warehouse;
  • Overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods according to work procedures;
  • Ensuring all tasks are performed in compliance with safety standards and procedures.

Wat vragen wij

Within our Contract Logistics department, FMCG division, in Tiel, we are looking for colleagues who recognize themselves in the following qualities:

  • You have an MBO work and thinking level;
  • You have at least one year of leadership experience in a logistics or production environment;
  • You have a good command of Dutch and/or English;
  • You are available for a two-shift system, with the possibility of a future three-shift system.
