As a Logistic Foreman, you will be operationally responsible for managing employees across various departments. Is leadership in your DNA, but you lack the right tools to take yourself to the next level? Read on!

On-site, the return logistics of the Netherlands' largest retailer are processed, with 400 to 600 trucks being handled daily. As a Logistic Foreman, it is your responsibility to ensure the required KPIs are met and that staff is deployed effectively. If a KPI is not achieved, no problem! However, as a Logistic Foreman, you should be able to explain to the manager or supervisor what went wrong or what is needed to resolve the issue. Together, you can find solutions and prevent future problems. While you may need to step in occasionally, 80% of your time will be spent leading the team and anticipating issues rather than resolving them afterward. For example, if one of the departments becomes busier, you’ll already know and have reassigned extra staff to assist.

Your Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a shift, distribute work assignments, instruct on procedures, and monitor work execution, ensuring proper activity tracking and administration.
• Provide support to the Supervisor and step in during their absence.
• Independently identify, resolve, and prevent process disruptions on machinery.
• Oversee the receipt, cleaning, sorting, storage, and shipment of product carriers in line with established work procedures, and address any disruptions in processes.
• Ensure that work is carried out in compliance with established safety standards and procedures.

• You have mbo (secondary vocational education) working and thinking level;
• You have at least 1 year of leadership experience in a logistics or production environment;
• You speak the English language
• You are available to work in 3-shift system;
